On Friday 17th November staff and students at The Hamble School took part in our Cake Bake for Children in Need.Students from across the five year groups baked big cakes, cupcakes and biscuits to sell at break and lunch time. Many of the students created baking masterpieces in the Children in Need theme and the Charity Representatives from the year 11 Prefect Team selected winners from both the staff and students’ cakes. These will be announced in the celebration assemblies at the end of this term. We would like to thank everyone for taking part in the Children in Need Cake Bake 2017, from all of the students and staff that baked cakes to sell and to all of the staff and students that bought a cake or two.
It was a great success and we raised a grand total of £300.Every half term the year 11 Prefect Team, led by the Charity Representatives, Tiegan Smith and Georgie Burton choose charities they wish to raise money for. Their next fundraising event is a Christmas Jumper day for Save The Children on Friday 15th December. Tiegan Smith Year 11
