Well done to our two Year 11 and one Year 10 students who competed in The Young Chef Competition at Southampton City College last week. Participants had to prepare a three-course, healthy meal for two people, costing less than £20 in two hours. Ellia, Leo (Year 11) and Jackson (Year 10) were brilliant.

We enjoyed meeting with Year 8 parents/ carers online last week – Information about the preference process for students has be sent out by Mrs Morgan this week too and the links are below.

Red Nose Day – Friday 18 March

We will be hosting a Cake Bake event where students can bring in cakes to sell to raise money for Red Nose Day. The Cake Bake will be run as a house competition with every student who bakes cakes earning house points.

The cakes will be on sale in the main hall for students to buy during break time on Friday 18 March. Any student wishing to bring in cakes should bring them to the main hall before school on that day. Pieces of cake will be sold for 50p or £1 depending on the size – this will need to be brought in as cash on the day as these cakes cannot be sold through our cashless catering system.
