This week our new catering pods opened for student use. These are a great addition to the site and mean that we can provide a larger range of food and a quicker service at break and lunch time. Thank you to HC3S, Ms Elliott (and her team), Mr Burton-Doe and the Site Team for making this happen.

We have been informed about a useful telephone helpline for parents/ carers provided by Hampshire & IOW Educational Psychology. If you have specific concerns with your child at home, this is a completely confidential way to talk it through with a professional and get some advice.

Year 11
In addition to our regular Tuesday and Thursday afterschool interventions, our Science team have started a drop in at lunchtimes to support Year 11 with revision.
Geography Revision – Message from Mrs Sargent
Some exciting new Geography revision resources are available to support your child with the GCSE Geography course. These additional resources have been recently released by CGP and are in addition to the CGP GCSE Geography revision guide and workbook you can already purchase via SCOPAY. These particular resources will support your child with exam and retrieval practice. I am able to supply these resources for a reduced cost compared to online prices and those in bookshops and will be placing an order so that students will have the resource ready for the next mock exams. I have copies of the resources available if your child would like to view them before making a purchase. If you would like to buy any of these resources, please could you pay for them via SCOPAY by midday Friday 28th January. Once payment has been received we will place the order. No orders will be accepted after the deadline. English Competition
‘Spilling Ink’ (a Creative Writing group) for all year groups, takes place every Wednesday (3pm-4pm) in L5 with Miss Harris. They are currently working on a new competition and would love to see lots of students attending.
