The Hamble School
is Celebrating ‘Record-Breaking’ Results
Year 11 students at The Hamble School are today celebrating a ‘record-breaking’ set of results. This year’s outcomes represent a significant milestone and are a testament to the transformational change that has taken place at the school in recent years. With record numbers of students achieving strong passes across a wide range of subjects, staff and families are rightly proud of what has been achieved.
The results reflect the hard work, determination and high aspirations shown by the Class of 2025 throughout their time at the school.
Our results for English and Maths include:
- 82% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in English
- 79% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in Maths
- 76% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in English and Maths
Other subjects achieving very high GCSEs or equivalent outcomes include:
- 100% of students achieved a grade 5 or above in Biology GCSE
- 100% of students achieved a grade 5 or above in Chemistry GCSE
- 85% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in Art GCSE
- 100% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in Music GCSE
- 100% of students achieved a Level 2 Merit or above in Music BTEC
- 89% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in PE GCSE
- 94% of students achieved a Level 2 Pass or above in Health and Fitness NCFE
- 91% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in Photography GCSE
- 79% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in French GCSE
- 96% of students achieved a grade 5 or above in Statistics GCSE
We are very proud of all of our students. There have been a number of outstanding individual successes in terms of the progress students have made and their attainment. The school’s collaborative and inclusive environment ensures that every child has the opportunity to achieve their very best.
The following students achieved the highest grades in the school:
- Gurman R – 11 grade 9s, 1 grade 8 and a Distinction in Extended Maths
- Matilda D – 7 grade 9s and 4 grade 8s
- Ethan H – 4 grade 9s, 5 grade 8s and 2 grade 7s
- Poppy A – 3 grade 9s, 5 grade 8s and 3 grade 7s
- Max B – 3 grade 9s, 6 grade 8s, 1 grade 7 and 1 grade 6
- Wiktoria B – 6 grade 9s, 1 grade 8, 3 grade 7s and 2 grade 6s
- Becky J – 1 grade 9, 8 grade 8s, 1 grade 7 and 1 grade 6.
