Battlefields Trip

Trips & Visits Planner

At The Hamble School our motto ‘Achieving Excellence Together’ encapsulates our ethos of high expectations and ambition for all our students. Our vision to provide ‘A high quality provision inside and outside of the classroom, which enables all students to achieve the very best outcomes and become lifelong learners.’ importantly encapsulates the opportunities that students have, over their 5-year journey with us, to learn and have developmental experiences outside the classroom.

In this document we seek to support parents with planning funding for any trips and visits that they may wish their child to experience. The Hamble School are acutely aware of the high cost of living and aim to provide a range of different trips and visits, local, national and international, whilst being mindful of the costs.

When planning trips, we will always seek to obtain multiple options and quotes to enable the highest quality experience for the lowest possible cost. We also aim to have a range of trips suitable for all budgets, including trips where there is no cost involved for parents.

Please be aware that the trips itemised in the table below may be subject to change at any point (including cancellation) depending on a number of factors such as external providers, costs and fulfilment of places on the trip, and that the list is not exhaustive.

We regularly review local events in our local area, including theatre performances and where relevant links to our curriculum can be made, look to run further trips based on availability.

We are always looking to add more trips and visits to provide the best opportunities possible. We will endeavour to update the trips planner each term to reflect any additions or changes.
