We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic teacher of IT, preferably with the ability to also teach Business Studies, who has high expectations and continuously strives for the best outcomes. Our intake numbers are increasing – we currently have 1,140 students. We have been recently graded as ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted and we are continuing to ensure that we provide the very best education for all our students.

The Business, IT and Computing Department is a well-resourced department with two dedicated Computing Suites and has benefitted from recent investment. We currently offer GCSE Computer Science at KS4, GCSE Business at KS4 and Cambridge Nationals Creative iMedia, which has proved to be a popular subject with students. We are very keen to continue to increase the uptake of Business Studies and Computing at KS4. At KS3, students have two lessons of IT a fortnight and cover topics ranging from micro:bits to cryptography. A colleague who is motivated and innovative would be the perfect addition to ‘Team Hamble’. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The Science Department consists of a dedicated team of experienced staff. It is well-resourced with a number of newly refurbished specialist classrooms within the Science building. Our aim is to deliver an inspiring and challenging curriculum which includes practical lessons, real-life Science experiences and the development of key Science skills. We work closely with ExxonMobil and University Hospital Southampton to deliver engaging talks and programmes as well as offering trips and visits to Science related industries.

We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teacher from September 2026, who has the drive and commitment to improve outcomes. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs. This is an opportunity for a new or experienced teacher to join the school at a very exciting time.

Our aim is to deliver an inspiring and challenging curriculum which includes practical and theory skills. At GCSE, option numbers are high and students currently study the Eduqas specification for Food Preparation and Nutrition, AQA for Design Technology and AQA for Engineering.

We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Food Preparation & Nutrition Teacher with the ability to teach Design Technology at KS3. The Design Technology Team work closely together, share best practice and support each other to drive the department to continually improve the outcomes for our students. A colleague who is motivated and innovative would be the perfect addition to ‘Team Hamble’. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs.
